The Owner's Suite is the pinnacle of luxury on board the Gauguin, with a spacious room and lavish amenities to make you feel like royalty.

The Owner's Suite 701 features a queen-size bed, separate shower and dressing area, and butler service. The Owner's Suite 7002 features a queen-size bed, full-size tub and dressing area, and butler service. Both rooms are 531 square feet in size.

VERANDA SUITE

The Veranda Suite is a truly stunning accommodation. The 358 square feet of living space includes a 300 square foot stateroom and 58 square foot veranda, making it one of the largest suites on the ship. The spacious stateroom includes a queen-size bed and ample storage space. The veranda offers ample seating for three guests and also includes a dining table for two as well as a desk.

This suite also comes with complimentary butler service, which allows you to have your own personal assistant who will attend to all your needs during your stay on board.

VERANDA STATEROOM

The B Veranda Stateroom is the perfect place for you to relax, unwind, and enjoy the scenery as you sail around the world. This spacious room features a queen-size bed, a sofa bed, a desk and chair, plenty of storage space for your belongings, and even your own private veranda with room for two more.

If you're looking for more space or just want to have some extra guests over for dinner, consider booking one of our Categorized Veranda Staterooms instead. The Deck 6 (D) Balcony Stateroom is an elegant choice for a romantic getaway. With 239 square feet of space, you'll have plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The room includes a private balcony with seating for two, as well as a queen-size bed. Wine Pairings

One of the truly unique experiences on board the M.S. Paul Gauguin is dining with the chef. Our sommeliers are happy to provide wine pairings, taking into account not only your meal selections but also personal preferences and dietary restrictions.

All Inclusive Drinks and Meals

  • All shipboard meals in your choice of dining venues
  • Complimentary beverages, including select wines and spirits, beer, soft drinks, bottled water, and hot beverages served throughout the ship

Activities & Spa

Board The Gauguin and discover life at sea like no other. With an array of amenities and activities, it’s hard to imagine we could offer even more than we do. But we do – from our diverse excursions that take you far beyond the shoreline, to shoreside activities that let you explore destinations on land by day and under the stars by night.

Les Gauguins & Les Gauguines

Regale in the sights of paradise aboard Les Gauguins & Les Gauguines, the Polynesian hosts and entertainers who herald the spirit of Tahiti. Enjoy a retelling of ancestral legends through dance, delight in traditional songs onboard and on our private motu, and learn local handicrafts during hands-on demonstrations. Couples celebrating a honeymoon or anniversary can even attend a Polynesian blessing ceremony.

Local Entertainment

Every voyager to the South Pacific should take part in a cultural tour of the ship. On every voyage, we welcome local performers onboard to share their unique Polynesian culture with you. Don’t miss an evening spent with group Mamas and Papas, whose dynamic performance of Polynesian dance and singing is a perennial guest favorite.

Crew Show

Get ready for an evening of incredible entertainment. Your voyage will feature everything from contemporary dances to Polynesian fire dancing and rock ‘n’ roll, and even a magic show. The crew members onboard The Gauguin are certainly experts at providing first-class service to our guests, but they also boast many other talents that we’re proud to showcase in our crew show.

Le Grand Salon

Indulge in a night of premier entertainment while you cruise the South Pacific with our signature Le Grand Salon. Every evening will provide you with unforgettable experiences. Each night brings something different, whether it’s Les Gauguins & Les Gauguines performing ote’a—a complex line dance accompanied by drums—live piano music, broadway show tunes or foot-tapping rock music.

Piano Bar

The Piano Bar is the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy a drink of your choice. Take in the selections from our talented jazz pianist or order from our list of cocktails and wines.

La Palette

The La Palette Lounge, situated on the main deck, is an upscale spot to relax with friends, enjoy a welcome cocktail and take in the best views of the sunset. At night, this space becomes a popular destination for dancing and live music.

Pool and Pool Bar

Let the South Pacific sunshine warm your skin at our outdoor pool. Relax with a drink from the Pool Bar, or grab your favorite lounge chair and soak in the scenery.

La Boutique

Don't miss out on the opportunity to buy authentic Tahitian black pearl jewelry exclusively designed for Paul Gauguin Cruises, Tahitian vanilla, local arts and handicrafts, souvenir apparel, and more.

Just steps from your stateroom, you'll find La Boutique—the perfect place to pick up any necessary sundries or toiletries, like swimwear, beach attire, sunscreen, and batteries. Located at the ship's main deck, this exclusive boutique offers a variety of merchandise and souvenirs for guests looking to bring home a little something special.

Watersports

At Paul Gauguin Cruises, we want to help you make the most of your trip. Our waters offer a world of wonders with translucent lagoons, rainbow-colored coral reefs, and a myriad of tropical fish. A highlight of the Paul Gauguin Cruises’ experience is watersports and we offer many opportunities to explore these seas.

Whether you're looking to snorkel or scuba dive, our expert crew will assist you in finding the best locations for your activity and provide you with all the necessary equipment. Whether it's a relaxing dip in one of our many lagoon pools or an exhilarating ride on the wakeboard behind our speedboat, our staff is committed to providing each guest with an enjoyable time on the water.

  • We know you don't have time to waste on a cruise, so we've designed our onboard marina with your needs in mind. You can get SCUBA certification from the comfort of your own cabin—and then enjoy our onboard SCUBA excursions. Our onboard marina offers diving excursions for all experience levels, and we’re the only luxury ship in French Polynesia to offer PADI certification classes for novices. Learn more about our SCUBA program.
  • After a day of exploring, you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the South Pacific sunshine on our pool deck. Take a refreshing dip in the water or perhaps grab the drink of the day from the Pool Bar, a good book, and a deck chair, and settle in for a leisurely afternoon.
  • Watersports Marina - Your Headquarters for All Kinds of Adventures on the Water
  • Our specially designed watersports platform turns the ship into your headquarters for all kinds of adventures on the water. It’s as easy as descending to sea level and hopping aboard a paddleboard or launching a kayak.

Our watersports equipment is available in select ports and subject to weather conditions and local restrictions. Swimming from the watersports marina is prohibited.

Plus, if you plan on snorkeling in multiple ports, you’re welcome to check out snorkeling gear from the marina for the duration of your cruise.

Spa & Fitness

Treat yourself to a little “me time” on your next vacation.

Whether you want to indulge in a treatment at our award-winning onboard spa or get a workout in our fitness center, you can do it all while on board a Paul Gauguin Cruise.

  • The Gauguin's spa, Deep Nature Spa by Algotherm, offers a unique approach to beauty and rejuvenation. With treatments that are tailored to the needs and wishes of each individual, they combine the art of gentle pampering with services that are uniquely suited to their guests' desires.

We know how important it is to take care of yourself, and with our spa, you’ll never want to leave. Our extensive range of treatments and services are enveloped in an atmosphere that is both tranquil and luxurious.

Shipboard treatments include skin care therapies, skin exfoliation, massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, body wraps, facials, beauty treatments, nail services, and hair styling. We are also happy to offer relaxing overwater massages during the day you’ll spend on Motu Mahana, our private South Pacific paradise.

Fitness Center

You will find the latest fitness equipment in our convenient onboard fitness center, including Lifecycles, treadmills, stair climbers, and weight machines. Other onboard fitness opportunities include a morning mile-long walk around decks 8 and 9 and a sunrise Polynesian-inspired Zumba class, both hosted by Les Gauguines.

Shore Excursions

Explore the land independently or choose from an exhaustive list of shore excursions. From island tours (by Le Truck or 4X4 Jeep Safari) and black pearl farm adventures, to peaceful nature hikes and inspiring archaeological expeditions, there are endless ways to explore.

Special Guests

On select voyages, we invite special guests aboard, who offer lectures, performances, workshops, wine tastings, cooking demonstrations, and more. Whether your interest is art, photography, wine, cuisine, music, magic, South Pacific history, science, or the wonders of the deep, you can find a voyage featuring an expert in the subject. You'll enjoy local lecturers and entertainers in every destination.

Celebrations

Paul Gauguin Cruises is also a specialist in creating memorable celebrations. There is no better or more romantic setting for a new beginning or personal landmark, and we are renowned for the extra touches and attention to detail that makes every occasion special. We also offer special optional packages for milestone celebrations and make gift-giving easy with our Gift Registries.
