Booking with Confidence during the Coronavirus Pandemic
As countries are still adapting to travel during COVID-19, you may need some flexibility with your travel dates. We encourage you to visit our extensive COVID-19 Travel Resources page to understand the latest entry protocols for French Polynesia and learn more about our "Book with Confidence" policy, which includes one FREE date change. With our new, more flexible booking policy, you can plan your future travel with complete peace of mind.
Deposits and Final Payment Procedures
Your Tahiti Specialist, our operations staff, and our agents in Tahiti work very hard to plan and arrange your travel and provide continuing assistance, advice and support. In order to perform these professional services, a non-refundable deposit is required. Your deposit covers fixed expenses and reservation costs associated with planning your trip, arranging confirmations and services with your hotels and tour operators and, if applicable, purchasing non-refundable, international and inter-island airfare. These costs are unrecoverable in the case of a cancelation by any party, which is why they are non-refundable.
If you must postpone or reschedule your trip due to COVID-19, or if your flight is cancelled by the airline, this does not waive the non-refundable nature of your initial deposit. However, as mentioned above, your deposit is fully protected through our “Book with Confidence” policy and 100% of this deposit is applied toward the quoted price of your Vacation or Honeymoon.
Land Only Arrangements – Reservations that do not include international airfare will require a minimum deposit of at least $600 per person (certain luxury resorts will require higher deposits).
Air and Land Arrangements – Non-refundable deposits for clients booking international flights will include the full amount of the airfare included in your travel package. This additional deposit amount will be based on the current International Economy Class or Business Class fares for your specific dates of travel and will be used to purchase your airline tickets.
Travel Insurance – Venture Tahiti strongly recommends that all clients purchase travel insurance. It is recommended that travel insurance is purchased within 14-21 days of booking to get the full coverage options available with the chosen policy. But, insurance can be purchased up until the day prior to departure. Please see the new Entry Requirements for French Polynesia for the most current insurance requirements. If you are still considering whether to purchase travel insurance, our article "Should I Buy Travel Insurance" may be a useful guide. For a complimentary quote to compare multiple policies and choose which is best for you, please click here.
Deposits will not be processed and airfare will not be purchased unless we have your itinerary confirmed as requested by your selected resorts. The balance of your Tahiti Vacation or Tahiti Honeymoon will be due in full at least 45 days prior to departure (potentially 60 days depending upon certain luxury resort requirements). For bookings within 45 days of departure, full payment will be due within 5 business days of your Tahiti confirmation. For the remainder of any amounts due, clients are free to pay in installments at any time before your final payment due date. Confirmation of your payment will be noted and applied to your client statement.
Note: Your package pricing is based upon forecast foreign currency exchange rates and pricing applicable to your dates of travel and specific to your final payment due date. Should you need to postpone or reschedule your trip, we are glad to assist. However, your package pricing may need to be recalculated based upon your new travel dates and payment schedule.

Terms & Conditions
We encourage you to review our full Terms & Conditions for more information. Please feel free to ask your Travel Specialist should any questions arise.
We are often asked about the cost of food in Bora Bora and Tahiti. Food tends to be a bit expensive in French Polynesia. It is on par with dining out in New York, Los Angeles or Honolulu. If you are trying to stick to a preferred travel budget, regardless of how much you plan to spend, the cost of dining in French Polynesia should be considered in your travel and vacation planning.
Which islands to visit and how many islands you should visit depends a lot on how long you plan to stay in French Polynesia. We typically advise clients to spend at least 3 nights on each island in their itinerary (except possibly the Island of Tahiti). Spending less than 3 nights tends to make travelers feel too rushed. After all, you are going there to at least try to relax.
The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort is absolutely incredible. There are no words to describe the beauty of Tahiti and the staff there was wonderful. I cannot thank Venture Tahiti enough for helping us book the most incredible experience of our lives!! We plan on bringing our children there very soon!
The spa is beautiful, we had a great couples massage! ...the excursions are amazing & the best snorkeling channel around! It's worth every penny you spend and an experience of a lifetime! The sunsets are the best you will ever see! We used VENTURE TAHITI in Boca Raton, Florida to book our trip and it went off without a hitch. They did an excellent job and I highly recommend them!
I wanted to say thanks for helping us set up an amazing trip. We are home safe & sound! Everything was wonderful-- I am so happy you recommended the Shark & Ray tour on Bora Bora-- it was by far our favorite thing that we did! We ended up relaxing on Taha'a as it was the most perfect place to unwind and get massages. All of the hotels were awesome-- Le Taha'a Resort and The Conrad were our favorites! We absolutely loved our beach bungalow (it was huge!!)
